That whatever the new content is, there will never be armor sets or weapon sets available through playing the game. No rewards for skill. Open your wallet and you will receive that glorious heavenly joy that is horizontal progression – do not, and you will suffer the mindless work-like farm ala crem de la frostgorge, or completely miss out.

As is, “you don’t need it”.

So why keep playing.

It is of interesting thought.

There have already been weapon sets available just through play. As for armor sets. It’s true they take much much more work for a-net to pump out, so they need to put a price take on them more often then not. But don’t say it’s well and done. I guarantee there will be new armor sets available through play in the future as a-net begins to grow.
