So as we can see, Kessex Hills has been turned into a giant nightmare.
But what about centaurs? They have been fighting with human over Kessex Hills for a long time, but under this situation, will it make sense if they ally with human and fight the kraits? I believe human and centaurs should share the same interest at this point.
Kraits are evil creatures, but centaurs are not, they are just a war-like race. Even Charr allied human against the Zhaitan, so why not centaurs?

They have a treaty with Lions Arch as it is. They have connections with Human bandits. It is not unreasonable that they could at least suspend the “war” with a cease fire till the outside threat was gone.

But that would make far too much sense.

I dunno, they might view the distraction of the Toxic Alliance as an opportunity to strike at the humans.

If the Centaur are smart, they will fall back until both the Human and Krait numbers dwindle and then launch their attack on both fronts.

Conversation in one village there would indicate that the old Krait had fun by hamstringing their Centaur prisoners.

So sure, yeah, total sense that the Centaur would ignore a larger, more dangerous and more aggressive Krait threat.

How is one tower with some strange magic populated by a faction of krait and a faction of the Nightmare Court a larger threat than an entire human kingdom with a professional army? The centaurs were already afraid that they would be destroyed because of the human-charr cease fire and peace treaty would allow the humans to turn more force towards the centaurs. So what if the Toxic Alliance hates the centaurs?

Because this zone was dead and the Centaur had all but won until the krait showed up. Humans had moved on to greener pastures (i’m looking at you queensdale)

actually the OP makes perfect sense. The Harathi centaurs occupy this area and they are not the warmongering Modniir. I think they would consider allying themselves to deal with the greater threat.

tbh, I think a lot of the lore on centaurs wasn’t delivered strongly enough, I had no idea until reading the wiki pages that the largest tribe the Modniir, lead by Ulgoth the Mighty, forcefully united the two other tribes (Harathi and Tamini) to wage a war against the humans in order to regain the land their lost when the humans settled there after lions arch was destroyed.

The new kraits attack the centaurs, as seen by the npc fights NE on borderland maps.

Enemy of my enemy is my friend works in every direction. Now the centaurs have a chance to regroup while the humans are dealing with the corruption and dwindling their own numbers.

I just wish Anet would spend the extra effort to sync the entire zone and adjust all the events to make it more plausible that this stuff is actually happening instead of like Fleaman said, the centaur don’t even notice anything is different. And why do the centaur need a bridge? They have 4 legs don’t they? Never seen a large 4 legged animal that couldn’t get across a stream…

Wait… Why exactly are the centaurs chasing our women? O.o Is it because centaur women are too… “naggy”?

This will be another strike force attuned with scarlet, she will create a alliance with each element in the form of the races, dredge frost charr flame krait and nightmare court nature, centaurs (bandits with earth magic) earthen alliance then there will be one for air which will give scarlet an elemental balance

I for one was a little disappointed when I first hit up Kessex to chase a Toxic alliance member and have a nearby centaur shout at me and just start fighting me as if nothing was different.

Are the centaur still under the illusion spell? Do they not even see the tower?

Those centaurs violate the nonaggression pact on an hourly basis. Just take a walk through Queensboro.

Queensdale lands are under the control of the Seraph and not Lion’s Arch. Notice the outpost in the swamp is untouched but all the Seraph bases are. The goal is, as stated in personal story, to overthrow the Queen by defeating her forces.

Being serious though, it would be neat if part of this patch involved forming a temporary truce with the centaurs or even getting them to help us, (maybe escorting some chief centaurs to summon those earth elemental hands to take out the offshoots and maybe have multiple earth elemental hands punch a way into the tower.
