Guild Wars 2

I got with a group of friends and we entered Kessex Hills from Queensdale, hoping to do the intro instance together… but it split us up and threw us into solo instances automatically.

The letter we got in the mail directing us to the instance also suggested we could “bring friends”, which seems very misleading if it’s solo-only…

Is this a bug? Was it meant to be a group instance?

Nope. It’s solo only, which is…frustrating. It’s the second instance I’ve quit in aggravation since starting to play the game.

I managed to finish it on my 80’s just fine, but I have several guildies in the same predicament as you guys. I wish there were some way to assist them, even if we came in like some of the personal story instances without our own skills but some “support shouts” like the brawling ones, ect. All I can do right now is sit by helplessly and lsiten to them rage about not being able to complete it And just to add, neither they, nor I, want the instance nerfed or infantile-moded. but for underlevels and people new to the game, it’s pretty harsh.

is the instance supposed to be hard? it was like infantile mode for my build that solo’d liadri the concealing dark/queen’s gauntlet.

You quit the intro instance out of frustration? Do you get everything hand fed to you or something? The intro instance was such a cake walk it wasn’t even funny. The “champion” at the end goes down like a weak veteran.

Oh I see you’re newish to the game then that makes a much larger difference.
