What is up with the voice over lady in recent preview videos?

I don’t know, but I hope they change it up in the next preview. Not a big fan of her..

Yeah that’s what I am referring to.. It’s way over dramatic. I don’t understand why they started doing this for voice-overs for the previews just randomly but it’s definitely annoying.

Meh, I like that. Adds some epicness for previews like TEQUATL and NIGHTMARE TOWER. What was the point of such voice at Halloween video – now that’s the question.

I like the voice over. Beats watching a video with no sound. That’s just boring. The voice over was creepy and added to the mystery of what the Krait are doing.

+1 for more voice acting.

I think it was said it’s the same voice actress, back when she was first used with Tequalt Rising’s preview.

Honestly, I don’t mind her this go. But she felt way cringe-wringing with the Tequatl Rising update.

But I’m confused why they brought in someone who’s not voicing an NPC in game…

Makes me think there’s someone acting behind the scene of the LW events. Someone pulling Scarlet’s strings, perhaps (and Tequatl’s… ugh).

The videoes are really kind of rediculous since Tequatl. Always pseudo-dramatic with a woman shouting at us.

I’m pretty sure she voices a lot of female human NPCs in the game. I constantly hear her in LA ambient dialogues (probably also appears in most human towns from DR to Ebonhawke), she’s the voice actress of Alastia Crow and Jinx Lockwood in Meddler’s Summit (Cursed Shore).

This is her best video narration, though – even if admittedly over the top. Teq and BP were really cringe-worthy.

So ,nobody heard the other voice in the trailer ? When she says ‘’ driven by whispered promises and madness ’’ you can clearly hear someone else say ’’madness’’.

And it’s not a woman voice .

Yeah I agree, the fact that it’s just some over the top, over dramatic unknown voice that we’ve only ever heard in these videos is just confusing and pointless. And yeah some of the voice over is cringe-worthy and terrible especially when she shouts at us and EMPHASIZES certain words.
