We have finishers available now and love our gathering animations so next obvious choice would be resurrecting animations!

Thoughts or ideas?

Nope, we should instead jump on the person to revive them.

I’d spend gems to buy one that would allow my engineer to pull out an electrified device and shock the person as I revive them..

I would pay money to rez a dude by something other than rubbing his legs

I’m fine with just rubbing down peoples’ soft faintly warm dying bodies, as it is now.

I think this would inspire more people to res. Just to show it off

As a necrophiliac, I personally love rezzing people this way.

I’d love a rezing animation where my warrior kicked the downed player in the ribs a few times and then yelled “Walk it off you panzy”

Exactly.

Culling kicks in a lot of the time for a lot of players. If you want a ressing animation for yourself, that doesn’t matter. If you want it to show it off, then you may run in to difficulties.

good idea, imagine my toon plays an angel animation

Currently it’s like “C’mon, where’s the wallet? Where did you put this, you kitten? C’mon!….Oh, he woke up. Nevermind, here Healing Spring for you and didn’t happen”

I’d like new rezzanimations too.
Maybe that would bring People to do more rezzes than the 1000 needed for the lame title and a few achievement Points.
There’d be a lot of ideas for it if you tnink of it closely. ^^

To be honest I’d probably buy a new resurrection animation, if there was some cool ones, over the finishers.

I’d love rezzing animations!! That’d be so tight!!

Rez Animation suggestions:
1. Standard. A brilliant white light lifts the characters off the ground and revives them.
2. An Asura defibrillator zaps the character back to life.
3. The character is shaken and smacked over and over until they wake up.

In honor of Forums in general, I think a rez that turns the downed player into a horse would appropriate. You could beat it energetically till it gets up.

I would have love to see the character pull out an bicycle pump, while moaning about a flat tier starting to pump up the downed fellow… like a cartoon

I’m hoping in the future, in order to kill enemies, we’ll have to use an item only available in the gem shop that has a 60 second animation. That will teach those baddies.

Naturally this would apply for rezzing too.

Revival animations? Eh…I don’t care.

In a heart beat I would purchase this. I would also go through incredible lengths to acquire it within game. This is a solid idea.

I like the Angel idea too. Since, well, Angel’s are in my Guild theme

As a necro, id love to summon spectral wurms/shades that jump and eat trough downed people while channeling in the air to “rez” them.

Well the animation would only be your player, it couldn’t effect the downed person, otherwise it would get too crazy, but yeah. I would pay for the shocking a person to life, and maybe one that has a prayer/ light theme, and maybe a planty one.

I like the idea of revive animations. For PVE this would be a wonderful addition.

I’m not against the idea..as long as it doesn’t become too gimmicky/cartoony. The finisher animations are already borderline this atm.

Only like one of then is though….

Only one I would want (could even be a finisher instead) would be to have my toon get out some steampunk (or even rocks like in the Croods movie) defibrillator and ‘revive’ them that way.

I have actually thought about this….

This could be a race thing…

For example:

Charr… Making sort of a tribal dance taking a Deep breath and the Breathe Life onto/into a fallen.

Asura… Pick out some hight Tech gear to move/hover over the fallen bringing them back with chrystal energy…

Human… They could call upon any of the 6 gods tp help ressurect a fallen…

Norn… They could call their stotem animal to help ressurect a fallen…

Asura. They could make lifegiving vines come up from the ground providing Life for the fallen… Almost like in “Avatar”..

I don’t know; at this point I’m pretty used to the comically-bad rubbing animation, like we’re just giving downed and dead players a sarcastic *pat-pat* "There, there, buddy."

But an actual animation of some kind that implied bandaging or healing or an incantation or whatever would be pretty great.

Speaking of bandaging, that downed-player skill should be renamed, if not updated. Holding out one hand and calling for help has nothing to do with dressing wounds.

1 up! Arms crossed, bump in the chest – traditional CPR style, no mouth to mouth though.
