This may be the most annoying variant of the order events.

Not only is the bomb in limited supply, but they come with a timer!

And the timer is so short that you barely reach the plant before it blows.

Add to this, dropping the thing requires a second long channel. That if broken for any reason leave you with little time to dispose of the bomb, before it blows up with enough force to pretty much wipe away your health. In the middle of a area continually spawning mobs, no less…

The only hard thing is to make sure you dodge if you see one of the sticky bombs exploding…I’ve encountered some rubberbanding with that though. Other than that you just grab the bomb, run and hit 1 at the plant, not very hard at all.

Heck I’ve taken out the things single handedly, if it’s only you doing the event you just need to drop like 4 of them.

The bombs don’t have limited supply, they just take a bit to respawn.

Stop trying to use only one bomb source. There are 3 at every event. Grab a bomb from one, plant it at the stalk, then move on to a different bomb source instead of running back to the same one. Keep in mind that the bomb won’t spawn if the NPC is dead, though. Keep the NPCs alive, or Res them if they’re dead.

If you’re having trouble getting there fast enough, try a speed boosting trait, utility, or using Swiftness. Every class has access to at least one of those. Also, dodge rolls get you a minor boost to speed, so once you get somewhat close to the spore (to the point where you won’t need to dodge any enemies or dodge the egg sacs that explode into goo that immobilizes you) you can dodge a couple times to get there a bit faster.

Using any Stability utilities you have can help as well, since the aura around the spores sometimes inflicts Fear.

Whisper bombs,… they go “shhhhhhh” before exploding. >_>
