Clockheart too frustrating to fight.
The main thing I don’t like concerning the striker hologram is that he gets stuck on stuff when trying to push or pull, particularly the platforms that raise during the previous phase. If he clips one of those, he gets stuck to them like a magnet, and it can really screw up any pushing or pulling. I guess it’s just a product of how mobs can’t be pushed across ledges, but I’ve had it happen fairly frequently in the fight.
Probably the easiest fight in there TBH.
I had no problems just dragging the ranged mob to the boss, it could be an issue if you had idiots in your group that don’t know what to do and just kill it over and over or something, but they usually die from the boss anyway and you’re left to pretty much solo it lol.
The boss grab/throw is an annoying ability that’s for sure, but not that big of a deal. Boss is pretty easymode really.
Bugs aside of course, I havent experienced ANY bugs with this boss.
Learn to survive his special attack. Then all your issues go away!
For example on Warrior I hit Riposte and block 2 waves then dodge twice (with Stability if I mess up) to evade the last 3. It’s quite fun when everyone else dies around you and you are at full health.
We’re melee-ing him in one spot and have a long range character aggro the hologram. The player then moves somewhat behind Clockheart (so that Clockheart is between the player and the hologram).
Some other tips:
- When meleeing him, try to turn him around so that he tosses a player into a wall or something (and not into the middle bit).
- He doesn’t throw cogs if everyone is in melee range (at his feet, so to speak).
- You can dodge most of his attacks (easy to spot animations before each attack).
- In some cases, if the hologram is too far away from Clockheart, the kiter kills the hologram so another one spawns (in a more convenient place, hopefully).
All in all, it’s a really easy fight if everyone knows how the fight is/
Just need to fix the holo aggro issues and make the gears destructible.
