Guild Wars 2

When TA Assault was announced, I had hoped for a 3 way war. We have:

1) Caithe, the Pact and the players
2) Scarlet + minions
3) Faolain + Nightmare Court

I had hope for Scarlet and Faolain fighting against each other over the Nightmare Tree, while the players comes in to take advantage of the situation.

Anyone else disappointed that this didn’t turn 3 way?

Me.

I’m still hoping we see the Nightmare Court plot to betray her, as we’ve seen before that they’ll even betray each other if they think they can get away with it.

“Until now Sylvari were divided among those that followed Ventari’s teachings, and those that didn’t. Scarlet is unique in that respect because she doesn’t do either.”

And yet she picks a side only 1 patch after the above was said. Here’s to hoping that’s temporary.

It’s sad to say but lore and the consistency of lore, or powerful, unique and thought provoking story elements are not this game’s strong qualities. Which is made worse by the fact GW1 had such a powerful lore.

I didn’t played that new path yet. Do you mean that Scarlet and Nightmare Court now work together?

There are other sylvari that choose to not surrender to nightmare OR follow ventari’s teachings.

Scarlet is just a psychotic soundless.

The short story clearly says they’re working with, or have a deal with the Nightmare Court, allowing them to be in Twilight Arbor. Those wurms were probably either given to them or just left there by the Nightmare Court. Along with the pups they decided to burn..
