Not even ascended to speed up the best in slot grind for those who had the misfortune of not max every crafting profession early.

Seems legit.

My problem is that they just took the Nightmare weapons, replaced purple with blue, added some glow, and call that a new set. Why not another “fusion” set like the Fused weapons from the Molten Alliance? I’d be interested in seeing some techno-organic weaponry.

Because it costs them less time/money to make.
