The new dungeon path was by all means very challenging. Which to many people, including myself, enjoy. Although there are the people who are complaining that its to hard. But come on, do you want content thats over in 15 minutes or something to work for?

I did find a few problems though (some which weren’t ArenaNet’s fault). My first 5 attempts were fails because people were getting frustrated and kept quitting. And by god is that annoying. The attempt that I actually succeeded took me 4 HOURS TO COMPLETE. After we finally came to the final boss, the Legendary Clockheart, our 5th man quit the party. During this, ArenaNet put up the new build which prevented anyone from joining the party because were still in the old build. So after about 8 tries my party of 4 beat the final boss while a man short.

I guess what Im trying to say is, just keep working and dont quit the dungeon if you get frustrated. ArenaNet probably doesnt want to make cheap content where EVERYONE beats it the day it comes out.

its not hard, its just time consuming. Once the AP is over with, it has no replayability, the time vs. reward is way off on this one.

You’re right on that one. Im never playing the path again. Very time consuming.

I gotta agree. I’ve done this new path an hour after the patch with a friend and 3 other folks from an entirely different server (friends of my friend :P). We did die a lot, but it was a great challenging run. Except for the initial ooze run for which my friend checked online guide, we figured almost everything out by ourselves. Nobody quit or anything. We observed why we were wiping each time and improvised. Also, make sure to read the NPC dialogue, like Caithe’s, they carry a lot of hints!

They need to buff dungeon rewards in general. This path can be completed in 30 minutes with a good group. That’s worth about 4 gold, not 2 gold.
