Hair pulling out madness
And when bosses are hard because of bad gimmicks requiring everyone to die die die die die over and over and over in an infuriating process of trial and error to figure out what to even do first, or read up a guide/watch a video before going in and hoping you do as well. Worst dungeon since the Aetherblade Retreat.

Eh, I found the dungeon pretty fun. The mechanics weren’t horribly difficult to figure out if you just the descriptions of the mobs.
I would say best dungeon in a while. Harder content is what we’ve been asking for. How do you think every other dungeon was figured out? By trial and error. There’s a trend with Guild Wars 2 players that they just want stuff handed to them then complain when they can’t beat it on their first attempt. Reading guides or watching videos takes a lot away from learning how to do stuff on your own.

Funny that. Never on Sparki and Slick did it say “Make sure to kite the oozes into the oil and don’t kill them, or poison fumes kill you no matter where you are”.

Who’s this “we” you’re referring to? I don’t recall asking for harder content, nor did some of the other posters I’ve been seeing here.

No, I want content that’s actually FUN to do. Wasting time kiting oozes to a bunch of gears while fending off a horde of Lava Elementals while also not letting the oozes hit you (or you’re down in 2 hits) is not fun.
Neither is a duo of bosses whose only real hard part is having toxic fumes do all the work for them and have ridiculous amounts of health.
At this rate, I’ll have to read a guide or watch a video to see if it’s even worth it, since trying to do it blind and “experience” the content has led to 4 hours being wasted seeing many people come and then leave soon after, and having my will to play be trampled over and over.
I mainly wanted to just help Caithe hopefully kill Scarlet this time, but thanks to another dungeon path with awful gimmicks, I won’t even get to see that myself.
Worst dungeon yet. Worst fight since Frizz. They’ve learned nothing.

I log in to GW2 after 2 weeks of break just to waste 4 hours on TA win 3 green items and just log out.
Maybe I log on after 1-2 or later months maybe peaple will know what to do on this boss, and the bugs and gliches will be repaired.

You guys are just too used to easy content. Grow up. Its really now that kittence you figure out the mechanics.
The mechanics are fine, the problem is the area is bugged to hell. The generators randomly teleport you around the room, the holographic guys reset if you pull them too far, the boss resets into the corner of the room instead of returning to his spawn point as he should and his stuns are unbreakable.

If you don’t think this dungeon is fun, do something else, it’s as simple as that. Meanwhile I’m having loads of fun in it with my friends and am planning another run on Friday. Spent 4 hours in there and had massive fun, trying to figure out how the bosses worked with no help. If you want to steamroll stuff, do CoF.
Best dungeon yet, with the best fight since lupi. You’re just too lazy to learn it.

Best dungeon experience in awhile. Loved the mechanics although a few were a little buggy at times but overall a step in the right direction for letting the player figure out what to do and where to go instead of the typical zerg style boss encounters.
I will say though the rewards for completion were kinda pathetic, I mean in my mind that path is more comparable with arah style difficulty and should be more rewarding upon completion.
As I said in another thread, when you learn how to play the content, things get a lot easier. Stay positive! Keep trying, and you’ll get it soon enough!
(the maze is a preparation for Slick and Sparki, the generators for Clockheart… this is great design.)
UUUUUGH I didn’t even realize the maze was built to prepare you for those bosses. I’m geeking out about how nice this game design is right now.

Quite interesting isn’kitten It’s a way of teaching things without having to wave a big red banner with “PRESS A HERE”. It’s more subtle ^^

it will be interesting to see how the community will evolve. I stopped playing the game because I was burnt out, and the game was laggy/buggy (karka event). I came back during the Zephyr Sanctum and it was really amazing. The Queen’s Jubilee aswell.
Now I see they’re releasing more and more difficult content (SAB, Tequatl, TA), are people really asking for this? I’m thinking maybe the game isn’t for me anymore and I should take a break again and come back later to see how things evolved.
I wouldn’t mind hard content if it wasn’t stupid hard, like Tequatl, we need 80+ organized people, overflow will easily screw you. I did it, it’s easy if you find the right group, it’s impossible if you just try to do it with random people.
It feels the same with TA, and with some stupid mechanism like the escort mission.

New reply, since the previous one got infracted by a nameless moderator.
Apparently I’m just not good enough, and never will be. Fine. I suck. How dare I criticize anything? Even though I can handle any other dungeon besides Arah as long as the group knows what they’re doing, I just suck. Happy now, nameless moderator?
I just wanted to be able to enjoy the story and help Caithe out, and hopefully kill Scarlet this time. But since I suck too much, I’ll just watch a video, hope Caithe doesn’t get turned evil (because that’s the only way left that the dungeon would infuriate me any further), and stick to the Crucible of Eternity. I don’t care for the skins from Citadel of Flame.
My 2 cents, I’ll reword it because a nameless moderator deleted it for being too condescending:
holograph mob bugs in the center of the last boss fight resulting in a wipe. Me and my team also got randomly teleported by the generators. And the rewards aren’t very pleasant.
