Make hair work like finishers
It’s their anyone who would rather permanently unlock hairstyles? By purchasing hair styles in the same way as you buy finishers.
This way you can change your hair anytime you want. From a list of unlocked hair in the hero panel.
Very good idea. Sadly, it would probably be deemed too convenient to have.
They wouldn’t want to lose any potential money from those Hair/Total Makeover Kits, after all…

That would make the Permanent Self-Style Hair Kit pointless. They are really rare, but they exist. I hope that they will start dropping again soon.

Why not make hair work like the gem store PvP finishers? Buy it once for your account so change your hair everyday. If the player wants to do so. This would promote the idea of collecting hair styles.
It works with Finishers, Mini’s, and Dyes. So Why not hair? Just make new hair only buyable through the gem store. For a one time account wide purchase.

Sounds like a good idea to me – and could still be unlocked by choosing the hairstyle in the hairstyle kit for the 1st time.
Though true, it would make the super rare permanent hairstyle kit not completetely useless but a lot less desirable, and I guess that`s currently the most expensive tradeable thing that may drop from BL chests…
Too bad ArenaNet didn’t take a page out of DCUO. Best gear-look system ever for collecting and being player friendly and still promoting cash shop sales.
I wish they would have all the back/weapon/armor skins be like the achievement skins and be held in a bank to be re-used as you like.

Paragon studios had a good one also, showing all options but locking the purchasable ones until you buy them. They also should to start selling armor by the piece.

But on your first point “now you can change your hairstyle at any time you want.” This is a game!
As for a “Permanent Self-Style Hair Kit”. I don’t think Anet would want us to save money.
