Your point? SE p1 is 1g takes about 7 minutes is extremely easy, SE p3 takes maybe 45 minutes, gives 1g and is extremely annoying. The gold added on was not thought out for any dungeon.

the reward is based on time, arah mostly takes atleast an hour per path if not a lot more and the bosses are quite nasty, this new dungeon I completed in 90 minutes with my first guild group and then we did it again after midnight in like 40 mins, its pretty quick when you know what you are doing in there.
2g isn’t too bad, especially when things like cof path 3 or a few other pretty tricky ones give only 1g

The dungeon rewards are all skewed. SE p2 rewards the same as CoF p1, that alone says it all.

Also SE p3 takes much less than 45min, in a pug setting. Arah p1 and p2 can all be done in about 30min, with pugs. P3 even less.

This is patch day, once ppl find the right tactics for this new path, it might (or not) be done in 20min or so. 2g for a 20min path is pretty good. Just remember when ppl used to complain that the new AC was impossible.

And btw COF3 = TA new

Its almost the same thing..

Even the annoying part with oozes and the puzzle……its really the same stuff.

And notice how popular cof3 is….

GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

For me the new TA path is fun and gives 2g, I’m quiet alright with that. Other dungeon paths do need to be balanced around the average run times though, but a minimum of 1g for each path would be nice.

Not really – when you understand mechanic in TA – you easily do all bosses and rooms
When you understand Arah mechanic – you still need avoid deadly things and put tons of dps.

There will be more dungeon revamps coming. With this new TA path, nothing can be skipped so that’s why it is longer. When other paths receive the unskippable mobs treatment you’ll start to see the different paths even out in terms of length.

Except that they lowered the hp of all mobs so that skipping is hardly faster. Silver mobs don’t die, they melt. What takes time are puzzles because you have no experience doing them and you have to figure them out by yourself (or wait for someone to tell you).

But the reward isn’t just the gold though. You also get a chance at those new weapon skins and whatever that’s inside Aether chests.
