The hair braid buns on the asura are pretty clever! As for the human hairstyles, I’m pretty sure fans of kasmeer will cry out in agony of not having that style.

Yes, they are beautiful. The female norn ones do not fit my character at all, but I surely am buying at least 3 kits (one for my asura, one for my sylvari and one for my canthan).

I’m looking forward to the Braham clones running around. A few of the Asuran styles are okay, but the Human male styles… one nearly makes you look female and one looks like you haven’t washed your hair in a week.

It will be in hairstyle/makeover kits like the new eyes they added a while back.

If exactly like that they may be exclusive to kits and not usable in character creation~ but who knows. Doesn’t matter to me either way.

Never understood hairstyles. I almost never check the face of my character. Could be Guy kittenes or Slender Man, I wouldn’t notice.

Well the human females are disappointing yet again. Boring stuff nearly identical to what there already is, no variety. Even more loose hairstyles with the parting one inch more to the left, great, while there was already lack of some great tied hairstyles like some of the norn ones. And norn get even more awesomeness.

And jesus, Leia braidbuns on asura. I’M JELLY. This is something human females need ;_; Pleeaaaase.

I went to the Renn Fest on Saturday and stopped at the Rapunzel Braiding booth to look at photos. I’m such a GW2er … I immediately thought “we need these styles in game.” I can’t find a direct site for them but here’s someone’s braiding site full of lovely ideas:

As much as I LOVE the new hairstyles, none of them clips well with the Mask of the Queen for human females so I don’t think I’m getting the new ones at the moment. /sad

The new hairstyles are great, but, not telling us they were coming really sucks for those people who JUST used a Total Makeover Kit within the last week.

Can we get a refund on those?

They told us they were coming… Just not when. That’s why I saved mine.

I’m so glad I bought like 4 yesterday just in case I wanted to change my existing characters…

Kinda disappointed they’re not in character creation though, a lot of time I create a characters face and look based on how the hair looks.

Still, if they had told/reminded us a week ago that these were coming now, I’d have saved mine. I used a Makeover Kit 3 days ago.

Haven’t been in game since the update hit, but is there a way to unlock those hairstyles other than a makeover kit?

I can see justification for buying an unlock to get the hairstyles, but to buy a kit just get a new hairstyle seems a little excessive. Fine if you want it on an old character, but to make a new character, potentially with a newly bought slot, then fork out for the kit for the style…..I think a fair few would pass at that.

And yet, still no green hair color for humans. It’s been over a year and my Necro still isn’t allowed to look like my GW1 Necro.

Thank you so much for these new hairstyles. They are absolutely amazing!

Finally my female asura warrior got a hairstyle that fits with a tier 3 heavy cultural armor set (minus the helmet as it hides hair).

Also special thanks for adding the Lady Kasmeer’s and Marjory Delaqua’s hairstyles to the player hairstyle selection.

I’ve had so much fun this evening trying out the different hairstyles with pretty much all of my characters due to being lucky enough to have the permanent hairstyle kit.

…..and I was. I’d be interested in hearing the reasoning behind these NOT being made available at character creation. I appreciate the new hairstyles (and will likely buy my Mesmer a hair change), but the content HAS to be added to the game anyway…why not allow new characters to use them as well?

I get making money, but new character slots make money too (and I’d probably choke on the number of new character slots these new hairstyles will sell even with them needing to buy hairstyle kits).
