Be Legendary on Bell Choir Assembly
I won’t be surprised to see this at all. I was with a guy who played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Deck the Halls, and some other Christmas song in between rounds… it was pretty cool.
Anyway, can’t wait to see the results.
I heard some guy playing ‘Lost Woods’. It was really good.
EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NU75uz0b8EU
Note: That is just what he was playing, didn’t record it sadly.

Yeah, try to get it recorded using the Bells in Guild Wars 2 or the underwater organ or the organ located in Ebonhawke. Right now trying to figure out the key notes for solo and group effort and post those key numbers and which panel, so that anyone who pulls it off first as solo or as group effort get bragging rights.
Just dropping in to say that I’m waiting with bated breath to be amazed . I know this community has some talented folks. This activity has a lot of potential for creativity .
In other words, I fully support this endeavour!
I think the bells are in the key of C
Am I correct? (I’m not a big music person)

Bells in the GW2 Winter event have a Upper (High Note), Middle (Normal Note), and Lower (Low Note) for a single player to choose during the contest.

No, what I mean is: if the bells were a piano, they would be all white keys… right?

Depends on which Bells were used in GW2 in recording this event. I am just trying to find the song pattern or similar to it.
The Organ in EbonHawke is broken, its not fast paced like it was previously in patches.
Going to see if the underwater one works.

Yep that’s what I’m trying to figure out, too. I think it’s in the key of C because I’m able to play ‘mary had a little lamb’, ‘twinkle twinkle little star’, and ‘chopsticks’ lol

I found this video.
Might help.
Also found this, which would be an awesome team work if pulled of on GW2 Bell Choir, perfect 3 man.

Try touhou songs ^^
but yeah the choir bell activity is pretty fast paced
but the choir bell item doesn’t play as fast as the choir bell activity :c
there should be no limit to music making, especially if there’s the fast paced alternative of the choir bell.
you could swing faster of course with frenzy but yeah.
Haha, I sort of made a thread like this yesterday asking what kind of tunes people play.
I play Zelda’s Lullaby and Song of Time all the time because they’re so easy
I heard some guy playing ‘Lost Woods’. It was really good.

Oh man that brings back memories. I used to play that on the piano when I was a kid. >.>
It is possible to have a permanently bell to play song when i want where i want ?
The bells we can buy fade after a certain time…
Plz Anet, make us more instruments usable anywhere

The bells are in the key of D Dorian. Basically, if you started on D on a keyboard and played a scale on all the white keys you would have a Dorian scale. For those who are not familiar with the musical modes, Dorian is like a natural minor scale, but has a raised 6th degree, making it sound somewhat more major and brighter (in this case, whereas D minor would have a B-flat in it, D Dorian has a B natural instead).
Song of Storms isn’t what you wrote there, it’s actually impossible to play alone in bell choir because you only have one octave. If you had someone else to help you it would actually be something like this: 139139 (one octave higher) 23232 (one lower) 86 61346 61342 139139 (one octave higher) 23232 (one lower) 86 61346 81
however you could easily play song of time or saria’s song on it
as far as i can go with my limited music knowledge…
