I’m eager to see the profession balance updates and if there are any changes to how ascendant gear is acquired.

They will post the patch notes once the patch goes live.

There’s no reason to wait for patch notes. WoW and League of Legends post there patch notes weeks before the update.

‘GW2 isn’t WoW or LoL.’ This is the way Anet rolls, we just have to be patient. Not really asking too much imo.

Why not? both of those game have a billion players. Its good to emulate them.

I’m sure ANet doesn’t post patch notes early for at least 2 reasons.

1) They have already shown multiple times they enjoy a sense of secrecy in their patches and content updates.

2) If something doesn’t go as planned and they need to remove is from the patch (WvW notifications) we can’t gripe saying well it was on de patch notes – Y is it no in game.

Plus reading the notes doesn’t mean much if you can’t play the new updates. All it gives us the opportunity to do is complain earlier.

To be fair, Anet doesn’t exactly “roll.” More like “slowly lumbers toward its destination, trips over itself, skins a knee, spends a few hours patching it up, then finally limps across the finish line well after most of the disgruntled crowd has given up and gone home.”

Is that something like when Peter won the golden ticket and tripped while running home?
