So I’ve been out doing RL stuff for the holidays and came back to see numerous people are reporting various amounts of cogs above 500. I understand that some may have increased amounts due to getting the chest on D1 (which I did not ) and the mail system.

Aside from the dungeon runs and mail (which total 600), how are people getting these cogs. Some people claim they were able to create all 5 minis which I find hard to believe .

Can anyone clear up this confusion for me.

500 Cogs from Dungeon, 200 Cogs from Tixx compensation, 250 Cogs from fix for the compensation.

There is currently no other source of them.

Interesting, I seem to only have gotten 100 cogs from Tixx compensation . Did anyone else experience this ? Where do you get these two compensations as I only see the compensation in the mail .

Tixx had a chest in Lion’s Arch (and in Heart of the Mists) that gave out rewards but it was removed for the fix that came in the mail since not everyone could loot it.
