Guild Wars 2

This will be quick and to the point. The choir bells added for Wintersday have become one of the most interesting and unique community features that guild wars 2 has. The only downside is that the unbreakable choir bell is quite a luxury item XD Thus, to support budding musicians who can’t afford an unbreakable choir bell add a crafting recipe for consumable choir bells.

This won’t downplay the awesomeness of the unbreakable choir bells, but it will give people- who otherwise wouldn’t be able to -a chance to make music year-round ^^

Also, on a sidenote, add flute sounds to The Bard, and unique harp notes to The Minstrel to make it truly legendary- it’s got nothing going for it right now =P

I think this is a great idea, in fact several different recipes would be a great idea, for all the extra nonsense leftover from opening boxes and things. There are people that have dozens of account-bound minis, santa hats, and other junk from gambling for the Foostivoo mini and/or choir bell. Not to mention those of us who have no interest in minis at all and have 950 mystical cogs collecting dust.

But it’s clear the majority of the community disagrees (literally saw one guy post “you shouldn’t have to grind for useful items, so you should have to grind for novelty items instead”), and in an interview the team pretty much acknowledged the bells were really popular, and that was it. Probably not much point in getting hopes up at this point. :/

Why thank you ^^ and I think being able to craft fun items like this might actually add some worth to crafting, other than simply being prerequisites for legendaries! XD

I would also support this! Closing off an entire mini-game to all but a tiny minority is just wrong.
