Update after 2 hrs wvw reset and without notice early…..

Now the war became which side has more ppl complete download earlier…..
All siege weapons disappear……We spent ton of gold in these two hrs…
Now….all gone…

and ANet still does not reply or apologize this problem to wvw players…

Why ANet can’t update before reset?
Or…If it must be update 2 hrs after reset…
Why you can’t delay the reset time!?

Thanks for the Wintersday content but next time can you please launch your patch on any day other than reset.

As a commander for my server I lost at least:

3 reg ballistae, 2 superior ballistae, 3 arrow carts, 2 catapults in the lords room at hills keep that was my defensive siege. When I came back they were all gone, we got zerged and lost our position. This is just one of many, MANY examples of how this probably could have been planned better.

I know this might not mean much but as a server fighting for our lives in tier 2 against the same matchup for the last 8 weeks it would have been helpful that our progress not be wiped on such a crucial day of WvW.

They announced when the update was coming (albeit imperfectly) and since it’s logical to assume they wouldn’t want it done when most of the staff had gone home it wasn’t exactly unexpected that it would come some time after WvW reset.

Really disappointing with ANet this time…

After a long time….ANet answered a lot of question abt the new event…
but still has no respond on this question….
Either in wvw page or this one

No Anet cares about putting all their efforts into jumping contests. Maybe approach Anet with a new Wv3 zone that focuses on PVP and jumping constantly combined, maybe they will listen then.
