Endless Toymaker’s Tonic gives you six different forms:
1. Doll
2.Ventari
3. Golem
4. Soldier
5. Griffon
6. Gift DOLYAK

Endless Gift Dolyak Tonic only allows you to turn into a Gift dolyak (as far as I know),
(unless the dolyak tonic offers something I’m missing)

Why would anyone buy a Gift Dolyak tonic when Toymaker’s offers the Dolyak + all the toy tonics?
There’s also the price difference:
Dolyak Tonic : 70g
Toymakers: 35g

Because dolyak is the rarer item. People don’t pay for the effect, they pay for the fact that it is more exclusive. (And the price for the toymakers is too cheap, considering that you have to put in materials worth 24g on overage, but you will get it only with 1:3 because you can also get the missing potion or the dolyak.) It’s only thanks to all the bots which farm hundred thousands (yes, it’s really that bad!) of additional giant winterday gifts from the JP, that the prices are affordable.

It’s the same bots which also lead to an minimal, yet noticeable supply of additional glue and stuffings from the gifts.

If it wasn’t for the bots, the toymaker potion would be somewhere around 200-300g, just like the Halloween one.

Pretty sure it’s not only because of the bots that the prices on all of the gifts have gradually dropped. The Toymaker tonic actually cost 30g at the beginning, before it was discovered that it could be forged (randomly) with the other tonics. The Halloween tonics are rare because most of them are account bound for some reason. The ones selling the dolyak are kinda silly for pricing above the toymaker, but I suppose if that’s the only form people want…

Maybe you can’t control which form you get with Toymaker’s? I don’t know what the cooldown is but if you want to be the dolyak and you have to keep using the tonic a while for a chance at it that could be annoying. I’m thinking for RP situations, here, as a friend gave us some great RP by showing up first as a doll and then as a ventari and playing them both to the hilt.

Yeah you can insta cycle through them.

I stand corrected. I have not been lucky enough to get even a single everlasting one let alone a many-in-one tonic. So yes, the pricing does become baffling other than the relative rarity.
