Infinirarium chest
I posted about this earlier. It’s happened to my group more than once also. Basically what do we do? Abandon the Toxx fight and run stand by the chest area?

Yup
50/50 GWAMM x3
I quit how I want
If you’re having problems in groups, just solo it if you’ve got a decently geared 80. I’ve managed to solo all four days thusfar (just to prove that I could, to myself)
Granted its a lot slower and a bit more dangerous, but it not much harder than walking around in orr or southsun.

Exactly the reason why I always try to be the party leader. But I agree it needs to change.

Mention when you enter — most people don’t realize that exiting can affect others in the instance. Someone did this in two of my PUG teams …and in both cases, everyone (not just the leader) waited until each of us confirmed that we had gotten the chest.
If you were prevented from getting the chest reward, file a support ticket (top left of this page, then choose, “Ask a Question.”) Assuming ANet agrees there’s an issue that needs to be fixed, make it easier for them to help you. (Also, the more individuals who file a ticket, the more likely they are to realize how widespread the issue is.)
Hence why I always run with friends or if I PuG it, I always type “Please remember to collect your chest reward at the end!!” – A remind always helps as some people may not actually know. I know I missed a chest on the first day cause I didn’t know there was a chest.
I think some people actually don’t realise there is a chest. Twice now I’ve been in pugs and had a conversation that started with “Don’t forget the chest!” “What chest?”
Similarly I suspect a lot of people are forming parties who have little/no experience doing it before (since there’s not really any reason to unless you’re doing dungeons) and they don’t realise that if the leader leaves everyone else is kicked. They might not even know they’re the leader since the party window doesn’t really make it clear.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
I didn’t get the chest either. I was trying to decide which size of gift to choose and the next thing I know, I am standing in the street. And to add insult to injury, all my gift gave me was 3 Ugly Sweaters that I don’t even know what to do with!

Happened to me earlier – I was full, clearing up inventory, and party leader left before I could collect the chest. Please fix this so that if the party leader leaves, they leave the party instead of the whole party ends up leaving the dungeon.
I think a timer would be perfect, a guild group ran a dungeon earlier with a pug and the moment the pug looted the first chest he left the party and the guildies were left sitting outside the dungeon without a chest and their time wasted.
Maybe an infraction system for leavers, i.e. Dishonor points in GW1.
First post from me, but reading this has me worried that I might have caused someone to miss a chest.
I don’t normally do dungeons (in fact I haven’t done one in game yet) but I have been setting up a group with my son to do the Wintersday events.
And at the end after I have grabbed the loot from the chest, say thanks to all who have helped and then leave.
I never in my wildest dreams thought I could be causing others problems, so apologises if I have caused anyone to miss their chest reward.
I actually had no idea that if the leader leaves, it kicks everyone out. Fortunately, I’ve never been the party leader.
Then again, there have been several times were I was the last person in the dungeon and I never got kicked….
This could be fixed by either allowing a designated leader who makes sure not to leave or just having everyone leave the party and no one forced out.

It’s possible that you were the leader. If you were the first person to enter the dungeon you are considered the leader.
I had no idea there was a chest!! >.< Apparently a lot of people have missed it
I personally do not like to say it up front because ive done that twice and twice we got kicked at the end so in those cases id say someone was purposely being a jerk. but i reaslly do not see why they cannot put a timer dungeons later in gw1 they added timers like a whole 60 seconds or something so it make s sense.
First to enter and start a dungeon makes you the “Leader” per se, your character will the be the one in any cutscenes that may play. It is ok to leave a dungeon after getting your chest, that is fine for all dungeons but if a leader leaves the party, he disbands the group and it closes the dungeon for all.
