According to people in my guild/friends list, we are able to make 3 minis since we should have enough cogs for that. They say I should have got some in the mail and from Tixx.

I went to tixx and got the 15 slot bag, the backpack etc.. and got a mail containing 200 cogs. That makes 700 cogs. 50 short?

How come I didn’t get enough?

You are not alone. Almost everybody is 50 cogs short to make a third one.
Originally everybody should have only been able to make 2 mini’s.
They send out extra cogs since some people missed those from a reward. (They only got 50)
I am guessing that by accident they mailed almost everybody those 200 extra, which in result gives the majority 200 extra and 50 short for a third one.

500 from the dungeons. 200 from the chest from Tixx. And 250 from the mail. According to the patch notes they sent the mail to everyone(not checking wether they opened the chest or not) and I thought I would be lucky and get 200 there and it would be 700 vs 900(people that got chest vs. people that did not get the chest).

But they sent 250 in the mail to everybody. If you opened the chest you should have been able to get to 950. Make 3 pets. 200 left. If not then you should have 750 exactly.

Only if you had problems with diminishing returns and they did not solve this seperately through support giving only the people affected by this another cogs reward… + not opened the chest when it still was available. Then you could be lower than 750.

I’m not sure what mail you are referring to Luthan. Neither of my accounts received an email with 250 cogs. Both accounts got 500 from dungeons and then 200 from the chest. Am I supposed to hang on to 200 cogs and 3 frames, or just delete them?
They seem valuable, but they are account bound, so I can’t trade them. I can’t use them so they will just take up 4 inventory slots for nothing. What to do?

You should have received a piece of mail (it should be a special mail that bypasses the 10 message limit) to the first character you logged on two days ago. It goes as follows:

Subject: A Special Gift

Nope – x2 accounts. So this is not true for everyone.

I got the mail, it had 200 cogs in. And on the first day tixx got to lions arch I opened the chest and there was 0 cogs.

so make the unlimited transform tonics then, u dont need cogs for that i got the trouble of having 700 cogs and nout to do with them...

Oh how i wish the cogs were not Account Bound… I don’t need them. They are just collecting e-dust in my bank :/
