I don’t have a Quaggan. Wish I did.

I kept getting knocked down by them and even though they broke a few pieces of my armor, I still can’t get mad at them.
I don’t care what toy will come tomorrow at the asura city. Cause I will put in the materials to make myself a plush griffon! <3

I too agree that it’s cuter than a Quaggan, and I was so sad that we had to kill them and their nests at the control room. :’(

However, a plush wouldn’t be distinctive of the game itself because a Griffin is common mythos across many other games and lore of many nations. A plush of a Quaggan is more defining of Guild Wars 2 because the race/species is unique to it (just as the Charr are).

I’m still trying to decide if I want the mini or the tonic. The mini looks great, but running around as a plush griffon also sounds fun!

A shame we can’t get more toy frames (unless the LA versions of the dungeons will allow you to; which I doubt)

Quaggan’s face kept reminding me of one of the sea creature I saw before.

You can jump as a Plush Griffon, Princess, and Toy Soldier (not ventari). I used the tonic at the start of the jumping puzzle and didn’t change out of it between the start of the JP and those pictures. I even picked up the torch as a Griffon and it did change my skill bar to the torch skills.

You can make them (frame + 50 stuffing + 50 glue + glimmering dust)
Will make endless tonic, or gift box ( frame + non-endless tonics)

Appreciation is such a weak word to describe the cuteness awesomesauce that is the plushie griffon. It needs a better word.

I mean you appreciate that pair of wool socks your grandma knitted you for Christmas before you buried them in the back of your sock drawer. Or you appreciate the way the ice scraper clears your windshield before heading off driving somewhere.

You do not merely appreciate the plushie griffon. You bask in its snuggliness. You deify its cuddliness. You venerate is fluffiness.

It is so much more than mere appreciation.

As soon as I completed the Hoelbrak Tixx I instantly ran to Lion’s Arch where I gave the relevant components to Zamoros and DEATHREAVER the plushie gryphon was born. He is my new bestest friend (please don’t tell Railgun though, he gets jealous) and we go everywhere together.

I wonder if he’ll like Orr?

I’ve been lucky in the forge so instead of having a Plushy Griffon I AM a Plushy Griffon and love it

It’s a nice disguise though, I even confused an enemy who was fighting the griffons that appear after opening such a huge package, was hilarious.

The plushie was the first thing I have made in the Forge. Love it!

The Plush Griffon is just about the best thing I’ve seen in the Wintersday Event.

When a group of us jumped in to the dungeon yesterday we all had a terrible time bringing ourselves to kill the cute fluffy little things, but we braced ourselves and forced a slaughter of cute fluffiness

When completed I had to jump straight to LA and get the Plush Griffon from BLT and try for an everlasting Plush Griffon Tonic.

This made me HAPPY yesterday as it was a surprise when i went into the toy shop, upon leaving I made the plushy and found out about the tonic…. I need another frame now!!

Yeah, I’m bummed. I made the mini before realizing that I need the frame to make the tonic. Guess I’m out of luck for ever getting a griffon tonic.

Actually one of my first thought yesterday was: I want to make one. I’m fairly decent with the sewing machine, but I’m not very good at pattern making. Anyone here that would like to help me? ^^

Okay, now that we’ve seen the toy golem, I think it’s safe to officially declare the plushie griffon the mostest bestest Wintersday toy.

Not that there was much doubt after their debut, but it was only fair to wait for the golem to make its appearance before making the formal announcement.

Poor little Golem was a little underwhelming compared to Griffon. Kinda amusing that almost everyone in LA with a mini pet has a Griffon out. xD

Had I know I could make an endless tonic from the frame, I would have done that and bought the plush from the store.

It seems to vary a lot. It took me three tries, some people get it on the first try, and some people have tried 50+ times with no success.

However, you always get the frame back if you don’t get the tonic. You also get some temporary tonics of that type.

You get the frame back if it fails so you can make it again. What you would worry about is wasting gold on buying the mats over and over.

I got extremely lucky with the endless tonic: got it on the first try!
Then I used gems to buy the minipet
