Whats the easiest way to get the presents in the game? is it to just run around and hope someone else doesnt get there before u cause that has become a pain…

If you are close by when someone else opens the package you can still pickup the gift. Also helping out with the spawn may give you additional presents.

I can confirm proximity is important, not who opens the present. Anyone nearby, close by, will have a present waiting for them, too.

ok so the best bet then for this is to group up with everyone in a zone and run?… is there any way else to get presents?

i want to add is there a great place to hunt for these presents? what zone i mean.. does partying up help ?

If you’re after the achievement for opening gifts, the fastest way is just to farm the Tixx instance.

well i found out that if you go to one of the zones and just tell people that you are present hunting they tend to invite you into a party or tell you where they are running…. was fun did it for about 45mins in frostgorge and had alot of presents… now what to do with all the ugly sweaters….

If you have trouble with others getting there before you: change zones, I find people tend to avoid the Charr areas (Fireheart Rise for example) My wife and I have been farming presents all day in Fireheart Rise with no one else to be seen…so no worries about others beating us to it.
