I opened a present near the Corrupted Champion Kodan and the Princes Dolls that spawned agroed him; well I pulled him over and one of the dolls aggroed him. I got out of range and went back to watch the show as six of these dolls got him down to half his hit points before the Champion could kill a single doll. I began blasting the Champion with my rifle and helped the poor little Princes kill him off. At the end, only two dolls remained and they where easy enough to dispatch.

I noticed if the Champion had confusion he wouldn’t attack and just stood there dumbfounded for the most part. Since these little monsters can put confusion on permanently between the six of them, it was a cake walk to kill him.

Can I have one of these as a pet. I could take her to Orr and let her do all the fighting and I just walk behind her picking up the loot. I wouldn’t even need a weapon, just one of those sticks you pick stuff off the ground. lol

Its the same in brisban wilderness, I cant even get through them, they are full of boons and I cant kill them. The walkthrough is closed..

i think that they may be a bit overtuned as ive seen them take down a pack of veteran mobs without event breaking a sweat.

i have yet to kill one in the wild i just hope that they dont pop out of a gift in WVW as if a group of them pop in SM it will need a zerg to shift them.

Its all good fun.

I can take care of a group of them on my mesmer fairly well, and on my ranger I can get one or two down before needing to retreat thanks to pets getting their attention. On my mesmer I use arcane thievery, feedback and null field as well as the healing skill that reflects with my lovable greatsword and mass invisibility for that “oh kitten” moment. (Yes, I actually typed kitten. The forums are turning kittens into dirty words. )

Basically, build to counter a mesmer as best you can, and when in doubt, bring friends.

The Dolls and the Ventari are both very overpowered compared to the Skritt (or, rather, the Skritt are underpowered if you want to look at it that way). It’s jarring at first, but otherwise all in good fun and makes sense as a sort of random risk associated with the gifts.

I do think they scale poorly with low level zones, though. That and the dolls are just so… creepy. Far scarier than anything encountered during the halloween event, that’s for sure.

dolls in lower level zones are oped, took me way too much to get rid of the whole pack.
They have Protection, Regen and Chaos, a very long threat range (they aggro me almost from staff range…) and if I trying to fight the whole pack at the same time can lead to insta death.
I think tuning ’em down would be smart

I like when they apply confusion. They let out a scream and it is both cute and terrifying.

I hope they don’t nerf them. I like watching them clear out entire zones by themselves.

The question here would be, do they attack the doors and walls? If so, I want to lead a zerg in opening a ton of these, then leading them to a wall and dying…….I’d love to see a keep burn by princesses.

i think, for my ele, the difficulty of the toys are (in pve areas)

easiest so far: Skritt
medium: ventari
difficult: Princesses. cant seem to dodge their projectiles, though their tantrums are cute, but horribly scary to me.

i am at work today, so i won’t get to do today’s dungeon yet to see what spawns next.
