I got the Witch costume and even I pick up my cat and go home when the Mad King shows up. It is not only impossible to beat but you generally spend most of the fight unable to control your character.

I think you either need to have bought the Witch or the Mad King to truly understand just how powerful both outfits are in the costume brawl…….and how much more so the Mad King’s is ;-)

The Witch is good for defending your crown, but the Mad King is better at getting it

Mad King costume is 100x more powerful than any other current costume. Mostly because of the joke move which does like 5 unavoidable hits since it stuns (and then you can automatically follow up with the fear move, run away for a couple seconds while throwing pumpkins, then repeat).

I’m guilty of having trolled people with the mad king costume in rata sum before. Put a table next to a cliff and fear away when they interact with it. Since waypoints are free and you usually don’t damage armor with falling damage, I don’t feel too bad (and even my victims start having a good time after the first few falls ).

Mad King seems to be better in group brawls, while Witch seems to do better in 1v1s, just my 2 cents.

I still have a ghost tonic. Some guy thought he was good with the mad king. I whipped out the ghost and he started crying how OP it was after I took his crown from him twice.

The doll isn’t half bad either. Ranged knock down and subsequent easy shots end up catering fairly well to ninja types. You still need to keep distance from the Mad King or dodge very well.
