I don’t usually make threads (as I’m more of a lurker type), but ANet’s behaviour in regards to recent events made me want to make go out of my way to make this one.

Bravo, ANet. I commend you for always listening to your players. Sure, a lot of people complain, but that’s the usual stuff that any company has to go through. Your players complained that they couldn’t get the Wizard Hat? You presented valid points as to why you didn’t give them, but in the end… you gave it to everybody. Bravo. It might be a small and pointy hat for a player, but it’s one of the things that along many others makes the gaming industry progress (I’m not exaggerating). Again, bravo.

Same! While I haven’t had a chance to check out the event myself yet, I’ve heard and seen plenty of wonderful things trickle down about it. It’s nice to see a challenging, but relatively straightforward puzzle available—I was never able to complete the Mad King’s Tower puzzle because I just didn’t have the hours to sit down and keep at it—so this new one appears to be great.

And the wizards hat is nice! A very merry Wintersday indeed!

Good job, ANet! You’ve got great developers, and great customer service reps too.

liking it so far and snowballs are farrrrrr better than the last boxing thingy

The whole experience so far is filled with win imo. The Snowball Mayham.. amazing tf2 parody. Honestly, I have more fun in holiday pvp events in gw2 then I ever do in regular ones, and the regular ones are pretty darn fun.

The jumping puzzle, awesome! and I totally see where you fixed the issues that the clock tower had. There are some camera angle bugs on the disappearing presents, but I now have a path that works every run. very much like this, and seems more exciting then the clock tower.

I’m a musician at heart.. THANK YOU ANET!! I’ve had so much fun playing the songs of the game in bell choir.. until the Tixx shows up, my time will be spent in there and the mayham..
