For the love of Grenth, let us know in a public announcement whether it’s a good idea to keep our extra Mystical Cogs or if we can free up our inventory space safely.

Better yet, let us actually do something with them. Even if it’s just throwing them into the Mystic Forge in batches of 50 to get a few chunks of Orichalcum or something.

I’ve got 200 of the useless things sitting here that I can’t do anything with, but at the same time I’m hesitant to destroy them because we don’t know if I’d pay for that later.

And while you’re at it, let us do the same thing with the Toy Frames. I’d gladly break them down for some Ancient Logs since I can’t actually make them.

I wouldn’t trust a public anouncement anyway.

They’ve gone back on those before, so I can only assume that they would do so again.

I’d say if you have the extra room just save them for next Wintersday.

And while there are at it, i would like to know if i still need candy meter and cove map(and 2 other items from Lost Shores).

You can use toy frames to make endless tonic of toy the frame comes from.

This is what you do with EVERY new content that has limited resources and limited time.
1: Gather as many resources as you can.
2: Wait until the last day and see what others have made.
3: Decide what to make.

Your inventory space is that critical that you don’t have 1 bank slot or 1 bag slot on any of 5 characters for the next week before Wintersday is over?

I just wish i could sell them. After making one mini (soldier) I sold my stuffing and glue and made enough to outfit one of my alts with a few exo’s. I’m not interested in the unlimited tonic and If I could sell the cogs not only would it free up space but put me further on my way to fully outfitting him.

I’ve got 950 cogs, at most I can make 3 mini toys from them, still 200 leftover. I see the coin value of the cogs, but can’t sell them to merchants? I haven’t tried yet, need to go check it.

I’m totally not interested in making the minis… still wondering what to do with the free cogs I got.

Just keep them for now, one slot wasted isn’t too bad. Odds are you’ll just end up selling them, but better safe than sorry.

One of the dev/cs reps said after the Karka event that the cove map and such could be safely disposed of. Assuming you believe that they won’t go back later and change their plans, I’d go with that.

Didn’t see anything about the candy meter. I’ve been keeping it and trying it in various dungeons looking for easter eggs. (Or the halloween version of them anyway.)
