Welp It look like Arenanet really does look at feedback and do something about it thanks for the 3rd mini!

Yeah, that was a nice one, though I throew all of my frames into the mystic forge to get the endless Toymaker’s tonic, did craft one mini and bought a second (well the one’s I liked best. )
But I’ll keep the cogs for next year, if we’re able to craft them again, I’ll just go ahead and make the missing 3, if we get new ones…. Well I’d have one more, so what.

Either way, thank you. (I feel sorry for those who already bought all minis though. ^^")
And thank you for the second gift.

I thank Arenanet too for fixing problem…my biggest complaint is not keeping us informed. When there is a problem, just knowing whats going on will make it much more easier to just wait and see.

Update by the hour or a least several times a day as to what to expect.

Put our minds at ease so we know things will work out.

At least they are not afraid of patching and hot-fixing the game during the week, instead of only 1 day a week like most mmos.

I haven’t logged on yet but, I wondered about this before I tried Tixx on day six. I had seen that others had problems with the chest, so part of me said wait, but part of me said, “Looks fine, try it”.

Anyways, I tried it and it worked fine, got my trash from chest.

Point being that in the Karka event, I DIDN’T participate in the final event, because everything up to that had been soooo laggy and therefore No Fun, that I didn’t bother. YET, I got free compensation trash that I barely felt entitled too.

So, I guess if I log on now, I’ll get more free trash I wasn’t originally intended to get, but now I do. So silly.

Sadly the minis do not make any noise. For me the one that I do not want at all is the Princess. It is great that people like the different toys.

They did not, just cogs. Along with other neat things.

The cogs are nice but stuffing/glue = 5 gold+ So I’m probably gonna pass on it.

ArenaNet you do make me laugh, I was in Tixx Infinirarium and so close to completing it solo when suddenly I’m kicked out so Gw2 could download the patch update, I thought just my luck for something to go wrong minutes away from receiving the chest, I’m pretty sure you can imagine how surprised I was after I logged back in to fined the mail from Tixx :)) I know It wasn’t personal for my hard work in the Infinirarium and lost out on the chest due to the patch update but it does make up for it in a laughable way, anyway thank you ArenaNet for the gifts as well as making me laugh :))

Yup, nicely done, I’m not a power-player and I enjoyed Wintersday more than the previous ones. Not everyone is into PvP, a bit of dolyak defense and a bell choir are a nice change of pace. (“What did you do this weekend?” — “I played music by killing attacking notes with bells.” — “… … weirdo…”) ;-)

Thank you ANet for responding quickly by patching bugs — Of course now one guy posts the whole event should be canceled because he doesn’t want to download patches…
Also thank you for reacting to last month’s complaints, and breaking Wintersday down into dungeons, instead of one large (quite likely) laggy event. — Of course now some complain there was no big showdown against Tixx…

I’m not an expert on economics, but ANet is doing a good job keeping rare goods rare and preventing the bankers among us from going all “hedge fond” on the prices. — Of course now some complain that rare minis and precursors don’t drop often enough…
Then ANet gives us a cute toy or two. It doesn’t break the game balance and fits the setting and races well. -- Of course now, in the “true” spirit of Winterday, the collectors among us complain “Buddy got a nicer toy!! Want ALL of them!! Waaah!” …

The Halloween and Karka events were quite hard, and only the toughest of the tough made it to the chests. — Of course now some complain that Winterdays is too easy, and they can’t even suck more loot out of it by grinding…

Seriously? faceplam I know children who are less whiny than some of the (supposed) adults here. :-P (I’m not referring to posters who report bugs, or who make constructive suggestions for improvement.)

I’ve really enjoyed this event. Lion’s Arch looks wonderfully festive, the events have been fun, and the rewards are pretty cool. Well done!

Though, I’m ashamed to admit I don’t know how to make the PvP Toymaker’s Bag do something.

I think they did a good job. I’m terrible at the JP, and Bell Choir… and find the Toypocalypse too long… But I’m still having fun! I love the free goodies I’ve gotten so far(though I hate that the RNG is a factor in getting the endless tonics from the forge). The holiday decorations are great too

The Snowball arena is the highlight for me… And this is coming from someone who has never tried sPvP in this game, and only dabbled in WvW for the monthly.

ArenaNet. Thank you so much. I have felt the Christmas spirit that I have not felt in years. All because of you and GW2. I just love it! I have not had so much fun in a game for a long time. Toypocalypse is so much fun and “Gift Stopper” in Snowball Mayhem is just hilarious! The puzzle was also a blast when I finally conquered it.

Go into the mists pvp lobby and then equip the pvp bag. It will then be out of your storage and on your character when/if you do sPvP.
