Oh, I loved the bell, didn’t realize it wasn’t permanent. (My fault) But sure would like a permanent one. Something else to do in town while standing around in house clothing…

QQ its so expensive. Ima save up for it cus everything else to me in gw2 is boring atm. Make some stuff the the bell to keep entertained. Bought 200 of em till i can get the perma one.

I believe it’s so you can’t just stand there and continually ring it around the bank, or the like, and annoy of everyone.

That’s what Legendary Weapons and their obscene effects are for.

It’s 60 seconds time limit. And it raises to 15 minutes if you change the octave.

It doesn’t change to 15 minutes, this is what the ‘buff’ says, bit after a few more secounds it’s over. If it were really 15 minutes I wouldn’t have anything to complain about, as that was eeeeenough. ^^ Even 5 minutes would do.

And well, teh reason of not being able to bother others is a bad one, as you can just take the bell out again and go right on. Other than that, the constant skill spamming of some people is way more bothering than a tiny bell. ^^

Wait wait wait. Theres a permanent bell? I know theres one you can buy but its only good for one use (consumable). Is there some sort of bell you can get that is not consumable and lasts forever? That would be awesome!

Yep, and they’re up on the trading post. All you have to do is search “choir” and it’ll come up as the exotic one.

where do you get the bell? is it from the random spawns of the present box or the winterboxes and such?

Still waiting on anyone to enlighten us how to get this bell or where it drops from. Patch notes do not mention it.

They’re from the gift boxes. There’s a tiiiiny chance to get a permanent one instead of the consumables.
Or you could spend 30G+++ on the trading post. (Even that is SO DAMN WORTH it!)

I know a lot of people who were wishing for these kind of instruments so bad. ANet could add more instruments, even to the Gemstore for use. We could create bands and play songs…! _
But still, not without a time limit, that ruins the songs. xD It’s just enough to play “Oh come all ye faithful” x)

Yesterday I’ve been playing the bell in the grove. I thought: Well, just hide somewhere instead of bothering all the people in the storage area, but guess what happened? While I was practising more and more people popped up to listen. With my little festive golem aside it felt like a little stage somehow. xD It was great fun and we even started some RP’ing there.
