I have just seen the video about Wintersday and was shocked and horrified to see citizens without suitable cold-weather clothing, and in particular children on snow with no shoes on! No wonder they were jumping about, they must be blooming freezing!

I urge our benefactors (Anet) to give donations towards the poor and clothes-less of Lions Arch!

I would worry more about these poor human females with their T3 armour. brrrrrr~~~
So I would add those too to the list of the cloth-less ;-)

Or any human/norn/sylvari females with winged armor (which is so popular)

Norn are ok, they don’t actually feel the cold anyway.

I would worry about the sylvari though. Frost can do some nasty things to plants.

Well, one of my humans wears Profane… but at least I can get other clothes!

Fresh, cold salad is not Frozen Salad. Have you ever seen a frozen salad leaf? Or one that has been frozen and melted? Not a pretty sight.

There’s a Sylvari in the Grove who says she didn’t like being in Hoelbrak as it was to cold for her sap.

Yes, shoes for the kids would be a wonderful present.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw that girl jumping in the snow without shoes on.

the barefoot kid is probably a norn. they literally produce too much body heat to really need clothing for warmth reasons, even in climates like the shiverpeaks.

speaking of climates, lion’s arch always struck as me as kind of a “mediterranean” region, if you will. i bet the snow there is actually just magic/artificial, probably provided by asura technology.
