Just did todays jump puzzle opened the chest and received nothing at all, did the puzzle again and the chest gave nothing again.

Same. First time beaten since the daily reset and absolutely nothing in there. Merry Christmas to us.

Same thing here. I could open the chest (ellow shine), but no loot or even lootwindow appeared. Nothing in my bags either. Tried opening it again (I could) after another player opened it, but same thing happened: no loot. Next run I tried to go for it again, but I only got 3 gifts. So no crafting materials, no karma, no tonic. Aww, hope they patch it later on.

I finished the jumping puzzle first time today as well and recieved nothing in the chest. Did the puzzle again and only got 3 gift boxes.

Weird, I did it about 5 hours ago and got rewards. Gulp of karma, 3 presents, ~5 snowflakes, and a snowman tonic. Sorrow’s Furnace server.

Its ether a bug or Anet removed the reward becouse its to easy to get/farm.

Which would mean they are admitting that the Wintersday JP is indeed to easy and farmable :P

I did it the day before Christmas and got my daily rewards just fine despite other posts saying it was broken. So its definately not removed intentionally, and must be one of those darn “only effects certain people” bugs.

I also notice that some snowman building spot aren’t reset as well.

Happened to me once a couple of days ago. Was in the midst of farming it, and opened the chest right at daily reset (4pm PST). Did not receive the daily rewards. Prior to and after that run, I received the usual 3 gifts.

Yeah I did it again just now (still before reset, so would be my second time during this reset) and got 3 gifts.

Yep, got mine today. I guess only one day being broken isn’t awful, but I really like those gulps of karma!

empty chest for my daily. disappointed. is there going to be compensation of any kind? 7k karma is nothing to laugh at…

This is the second time its empty. If its anything like 2 days ago, i won’t get a reward at all from the jumping puzzle for a whole day. I’m kinda frustraded as I was counting on this reward for karma towards my legendary (obsidian shards). (took the event into consideration for my legendary progress).

Guess i’ll have to wait a bit longer, grind a bit more …

Got my reward today too. Curious what makes it so you don’t get anything at all.

Today, I got the heavy loot bag, 3 giant gifts, 6 flawless snowflakes, armor booster. It appears the loot bag is on the same roll as the karma jugs, shame.

Just did it 5 minutes ago and got NO REWARD

Anet can you please not apply anti-bot code to normal player more than bots??? Just like DR it’s always your loyal player that got affected

I have done the JP every day and did not get a reward today for some reason.

The first time I did it for my daily, no reward.

I tried a second time thinking it was a bug and instead of my daily karma/booster etc. I got DR (the 3 gifts).

No reward for completing the jumping puzzle for me today. Snowman path. Not a fast run, in fact had under 1000 hp’s on completion. What gives. The problem has been around for days. noone from Arenanet seems to be responding though.

I would guess that Anet is on Christmas vacation for this week, which is why there has been no dev activity on the forums at all.

Most dev activity I’ve seen was gathering procedures to attempt to replicate a zone crash, outside of that it’s been mostly the same ol’ community people dealing with support tickets.

No reward, though I’ve noticed the karma jugs shares a drop table with another item.

Kind of curious, do you all remember what your health was at percentage wise when you finished? I wonder if having too much health is triggering it or if it’s random.

When I didn’t get my reward today I finished at ~15% (2600~2800) health remaining.

Got nothing at all again today. Yesterday I got the (IMO not as good) loot bag instead of the karma. Not a fan of this.

Just did the JP an hour ago, and it gave me rewards just fine.

Exactly the same for me. I’m a little bit sad now.

yeah just opened the chest 1st time today again and nothing in chest, the animation for the chest appears but when its opened no loot appears.

I have opened it before and got the reward but today nothing, shame hope anet can look into and find what’s causing it.

This happened today for me as well. When I opened the chest, I saw the animation but I got no loot. I submitted a bug report in-game.

Some people want ‘compensation’? You’ve got to be kidding.
The enjoyment should be the satisfaction you get for completing the puzzle. The ‘treasure’ at the end is just a nice little bonus.

Got a reward today. Purposefully slowed how I approached it so I could see if it would hit if I moved like a snail.

Guess it’s just random if it’ll bug or not. I remember them mentioning their detection system is a little haywire at the moment. Wonder if that has anything to do with it?

And third time no reward, seriously why am I even doing this.

Tarn, your post is offensive.

Firstly, it’s a daily reward, they’ve done the work to complete the puzzle, the prereq for the reward, so they deserve the reward. It’s an outright bug and should have been fixed. Unfortunately it probably won’t get patched this late.

Secondly, they do have the satisfaction for finishing the puzzle, they just don’t have the reward, those are two different things.

Thirdly, you have no idea what their spirit may be, you don’t know them and you can’t assess that.

Finally, who are you to tell others where they should derive their satisfaction?
