Mine has an unconscious Asuran in it.

The bag is level 10

You can try transmuting the skin of the bag to a level 80 back item

Thanks – there is a small portion of me that likes being the noob (after being a jaded GW1 player) – I suspected there would be a logical reason.

Only if it is an unconscious Asura. You will need to make a loud noise that sounds remotely as if someone was constructing/repairing/dismantling something and he will wake up and jump out of the bag. Then you can fill it with something else. Preferably nothing unconscious (or conscious, for that matter).

Well I suppose you could change the contents of the bag – try tossing it down the steps a few times.
