I bought an Unbreakable Choir Bell to sell later for profit (Spent all my money on it. I hope what I know about game economics holds true.)

However, I wouldn’t mind running around after my friends ding-a-linging all the livelong day in the meantime.

Is this a thing that I may do? Or is it one of those “once you use it once, you can’t give it away anymore” type items?

Nope, you’re free to “ding-a-ling” to your hearts content until you sell it. For the sake of our ears though, just don’t spam one note. >.>
