So if I understand the ANet post correctly, we can only get 500 cogs. However, I have extra stuffing and glue and get it from presents occasionally in stacks of 25. What is that useful for?

Make the tonics.

You can use the other frames in an attempt to make an Everlasting Tonic for that particular toy.

• <Toy> frame
• 50 Stuffing
• 50 Glue
• 1 Pile of Glittering Dust

You’re not guaranteed to get an Everlasting <Toy> Tonic though as Zommoros seems his usual RNG self. But if he doesn’t give you the tonic, you’ll get the toy frame back and a couple of consumable tonics; allowing you to try your luck again.

I used my Toy Griffon Frame and got it to turn into an Everlasting Griffon Tonic after 6 tries.

Save it until you see if there is anything else that shows up also.
