I thought GW2 was supposed to be designed with players who play alts in mind? Why then has ArenaNet gone out of their way to prevent my alts from getting the festival items from this event? Why am I unable to loot the Tixx chest on all my characters? The items you get from it would break absolutely nothing if I was able to loot them on multiple toons. In fact, they would just let me enjoy these items no matter which character I play on without transferring them constantly.

Would it be so hard to soulbind the bag to one toon to prevent an “advantage” of being able to equip multiple bags (or make it unique)? What’s so wrong with having multiple characters with the back slot item (which is level 10) skin and a special bag? Is it really that big a deal that you don’t think we should have a free bag for all our characters, it would be so game breaking if you did?

I don’t understand these anti-alt design decisions you constantly make. Players with alts cover a lot of content, repeat a lot of things to equip their characters and collect their bags, it really sucks when we can’t enjoy things like this across all our characters. For a player who only plays one main, this design decision is optimal for them (or strongly favours one over others). They miss out on nothing (or very little) and the chest rewards their play style 100%. For players who play multiple characters, this limitation is really lame.

I play all characters on my account, not just one. Please stop deliberately designing your game to leave out 8 of my nine characters for non-economy breaking festive rewards like this one.

Totaly agreed with you. I play 2 chars atm on my acc. Would like to take price on them.

So the rewards from him are a slot bag and a back item?
and we can’t get the back item on all our characters?

If the second is true, I’m really ticked off. I, like the OP, have about 8-9 characters, and was able to get both back items for all characters (except 1 which was created after). I really hope this changes. The bag item I don’t care so much about, but would be nice to be able to get it on each character.

The back item is only level 10, with appropriate stats, so I’m not sure what’s worth being ticked off over when you can get level 80 rare backpieces from the TP for a few silver.

They and myself want it for appearance not the stats.
