Why do Eles not get swiftness?
Please make a bug report.
My ele got swiftness every time. Definitely a bug if you’re not getting it.
To be honest, I dont think they intended that some classes would get an advantage due to swiftness traits.

I could tell my elementalist was running faster than every other person, so signet of air must have been working.
Why can warriors savage leap still cross gaps when other professions blink, teleport, etc. can’t? Try playing the slowest class, mesmer, then complain.
You don’t need swiftness, blink, teleport, or leaps to finish this JP. I really don’t know what the point of this complaint is. Just jump on the snowflakes!

afaik all traits are disabled for this JP. Even food buffs are disabled too (HP regen one). So its perfectly fine if your <put trait name here> is not working there.
War doesn’t determine who is right, only who is left.
Wait, what? Last time I tried the JP, all skills were disabled…
I didn’t get any swiftness at all on my mesmer and guard and completed it without issues. Why would you possibly want swiftness?
In the Halloween JP the elementalist trait for speed while in air attunement still worked.
Now, it seems swiftness doesn’t even work at all. I tried getting the boon and we get no speed increase out of it. Come to think, I’d say we are already at swiftness speed by default which is the cap anyway.

This gives me an idea of how the jp works…
See, when you enter the queue, you lose all your abilities/traits, but not your boons. Virtue of Courage applies 10 hours of aegis every 40 seconds. So Guardians are easily able to maintain Aegis in the JP.
Somebody should try stacking a bunch of swift then entering to see if it helps.
You know the snowman who breathes out air on you and makes you fall?
Guardians block that all the time because of Aegis, so we can’t fall down.
Gotta love it.
