GW2 Wiki states both the glue and the stuffing needed to make the wintersday mini-pets can be acquired out of Giant Wintersday gifts. Please correct or clarify.

Why? It’s true…

It’s true, the drop rate isn’t spectacular though(I think I’ve seen the glue or stuffing 4x max out of ~2600 gifts).

you know what would be nice if all those present spawning all over the world, that when opened, the toys inside can literally have the “stuffing” knocked out of them!

I bet a lot more people would try to fight them then, cause as it is now I see people run open it grab the present and run away….

You can even get them from Small Wintersday Gifts, see attachment (taken a couple of days ago). First time I’ve got stuffing from the Small Wintersday Gifts, or any of the Wintersday Gifts for that matter.

I’ve opened like 3000 presents. I only got 25 stuffing one time.

I am confused. I did all of the events each day, but i’m short a stack of the stuffing.

i got 3 stacks of cogs(one was mailed), 3 stacks of glue, 5 mini pet items, but only 2 stacks of stuffing.

You didn’t. The original plan was for two pets to be made for sure, the rest bought from gem store. They messed up with some bugs and had to send out more cogs for those who couldn’t make two.

I’ve never had a problem soloing a group of toys on my level 80 warrior, my level 80 guardian, and only minor problems soloing them on my level 40 thief and level 28 engineer.

My giant WDGs [and all other sizes] consisted of socks, hats and sweaters with a few snow flake types and a few less recipes for tonic like recipes .

I got two stacks of stuffing and only one glue cause I didn’t get to complete the Toxx event in all the towns. We were promised we could make up for what we missed once he got to LA and then they drop recipe parts. Grrrr!

Except thats exactly what is going on right now? What did you think the tixx dungeon is for? You go in, pick the toy for the certain day you missed and then do the dungeon..
