Wintersday Dyes - what dyes look best?
As for actual colors.. Celestial and Scarlet/ruby.
burgandy was fine on light armor as well
HoM light armor (almost). Colors: Autumn (red), Jalapeno (green) and Tea jeans (blue)- all from starter set.

instead of red/green/white, i’ve opted for the silver and gold look. though my ‘silver’ is actually white gold and i’ve paired it with illumination.
White: Celestial
Red: Lifesblood
Green: Jalapeno
Light armor
Skull Masque
Whispers Garb
Arah pants
I prefer Spruce (actually considered a blue hue even though it looks more green to me) and Celestial. I’m not a fan of red so I like just going with a green and white theme. I wear Stately armor (you get it from heart karma vendors in Timberline Hills in PvE) and it looks stunning. Actually, any deep, vibrant color plus Celestial looks stunning on that set.
I went with something more winter-esque and something more christmas-y :)

right: Karma armor set with Winter Ice (white), Kelly (green), Scarlet (red) and Illumination (gold)

If you’ve only the original to use, Autumn and Jalapeno with Light Gold for accents should work.
John 1: 1-5, 9-14, 16-18
Leprechaun makes a nice Green too, and if you just have the starter set you can use Matte for a nice-looking Silvery-White on metallic materials.
I’ve used the Heritage Light Armour with the mask from the Masquerade set with burgundy, blue ice & antique gold dyes. I kind of wish festival items worked with armour, like the outfit options in GW1, rather than being relegated to town clothes.
Brick dye is good for a red, I think it’s pretty cheap as well (only tried on light armor profs)
I do: Brick+Celestial+Limette
50/50 GWAMM x3
I quit how I want
