My computer is undergoing technical difficulties (the mysterious shut down issue), so i will likely be almost unable to play at all during this festival. Almost. Will i be able to obtain the final event reward in less then twenty minutes? (Anything beyond that is really pushing it)
Edit: I would like to extend the subject to all untradeable onetime rewards, minus achievements and titles.

They have already said that most winter events will be available multiple times (the one time things during Tix’s arrival will be replayable at the end of the 3 weeks) and that the main event rewards will be available for 2 weeks. They’ve also said that the items for recipes and such will only (or maybe mostly) be available from the events themselves.

Eek I hope your comp gets fixed.

All you have to claim your final event reward is speak to Tixx after he arrives in Lion’s Arch on December 20th, 10:00 AM PST (7:00 PM CET). He’ll be there until January 3, 2013. You have two weeks to log in and complete a task that should take no longer than a minute, depending on how fast your client can load the game.

I have two slightly related questions:
1. Can we complete this objective with each of our characters if we want to?
2. If not, if it’s a “one per account” reward, is it account-bound (like the Lost Shores rewards), or Soulbound to the character that completes it (like the Halloween ones often were)?

While I hope your computer gets fixed, this should pose no issue to Arena.net. They make sure event rewards are present and achievable, regardless of whether it takes 5 minutes or an hour, but it’s the player’s own responsibility to provide a machine that meets the games requirements.
Please no “flaming” of Arena.net if a reward is missed because your machine is too poor to run the game reliably.

The cogs and the Ventari Frame I received were both account bound, the other mats of choice (i picked the glue) is not bound. The second time I completed the event on same char, i only got a choice from various gifts (small to giant). The chest loot is very random like always i got lame rewards from the chest. But it was a fun event. Will do again tomorrow.
