[Pointless even posting about this issue, all the threads about it so far have been buried, and as usual Anet are on call to reply to “thanks Anet awsome event” posts and nothing else.] – written by another poster.

I have been getting my posts on the subject deleted all day….. so sad.

So what is this thread about?

The posts aren’t being buried because of some scheme by Anet. It’s because more people are talking about other things.

There are still plenty of topics about the minis around. If you have something to add (like a suggestion on how to do it better) you can post it on one of them and it will jump back to the top.

Look even I made a topic about the minis but Anet is more worried about events then paying players complaints on this problem. Maybe they will fix it later but right now they are trying to keep everyone happy and they still have their on Christmas or whatever to have with their families.

The op is combining about posts being either deleted or possibly merged.
If its like this post, he was posting a complaint without any useful feedback – a type of post ANet does tend to delete.

I don’t know…I was dissapointed by the halloween minis because if you just buy them there’s no sense of reward. (In theory I guess there should be because I earned the money I used to buy them, but for some reason it feels too disconnected for that.)

But I don’t like the idea of buying a chance at an RNG. I think there’s a few ways to fix it.

1) Make them unbound and therefore tradeable. I don’t care how much people charge, it makes me feel like I can get them eventually and then I’m happy.

2) Keep the RNG aspect but don’t charge real money for it. Maybe put them into the presents you earn from doing the various activities.

3) This one is a little convoluted but maybe make it so the chests drop crafting materials, you’re guarenteed to get something useful but which ones are random and you’ll need to buy a few chests to get enough. Then you can either sell them on the TP or use them to make the minis (and maybe other items).

Basically anything but the current system when you have to gamble real money to get them and then if you get extras or ones you don’t want you’re stuck with them.
