its not just me but i wish the holiday jumping puzzle had a mode selection i tryed for 20 mins and cant even get past the stupid snow flakes. and i know i suck at jumping puzzles but i did want to do them but now im not even gonna bother because spending hours to just fail on a puzzle isnt fun for me

I agree with that. difficulty levels would make these events less exclusive and would be a really desireable addition to the game.

quite simple, don’t do something you don’t like, and as long as you enjoy yourself, don’t give up
