Guild Wars 2

I used one on my Weaponsmith and another on my Artificer and can’t find the recipe learned anywhere at all. I even went out on a limb and thought maybe I still had to discover it, and I cannot. My GF was having the same problem and we seemed to only be limited to learn one recipe per toon. I’d just very much like to know if it’s bugged? If Anet knows about it and will be resolved in the next patch or what.

I’ve been playing since launch and this is my second wintersday, while for my GF it is her first and she sold her endless toymaster tonic in anticipation of being able to make the Endless Princess Doll as that’s all she really wanted to be and now it doesn’t seem to work. Any replies on this issue would be greatly appreciated. I just feel bad for her and want some answers on the situation of this item/recipe. Thanks in advance!

Same here, learned it, not on my artificers recipe list.

Also happened to me. Last year the tonics were mystic forge recipes and required a toy frame.

Yes they are bugged. This is easily seen through the API.

Not only are they bugged but they don’t show up in the list of possible items to craft.

This is indeed bugged.
The dungeon does not give the frames as they did last year and the recipe does not show up on the crafting stations.

Ha, I just read my log, I double cliched on the recipe and learned Giver’s Dark-steel inscription.

Just happened to me too – clicking Recipe: Infinite Ventari Tonic gave me the Giver’s darksteel inscription.

It was fixed last week, check the patch notes. You’ll have to get another recipe and learn it, however, there was probably no way to retroactively grant the proper recipe to people who used them in advance.

Though it seems the Griffon and Toy Golem tonic recipes are swapped, still (using the Griffon recipe gets you the Toy Golem recipe instead). At least that’s what I’ve read on the forums.

Yeah, I would not define that as “fixed” .

I’m still working the support ticket angle, but this was the one public discussion of the problem I knew of.

Got Toy Golem tonic recipe. Learned Plush Griffon instead. I am not a happy camper. I already have the Endless Plush Griffon Tonic. Filed a support ticket. Will know if they’ll do something about it.

They will probably send you another Toy Golem recipe, like they did to me. However, you will have to wait for them to fix the recipe, as it still has not been fixed. Right now it says I’ve already learned it, because it gives the Plush Griffon recipe.

Mines bugged, cant make a golem one, says I have 2 griffons, and I already “know” golem one so I cant use another to learn it. Its on anets end, they need to fix it.

I want to get one of the Endless tonics, but at this point I don’t want to waste my money/materials just to get something else. Arenanet, please clear this up before you go on to break.

I got recipes off the trading post for all the endless tonics except the golem (which I didn’t want). They all worked for me correctly.

I was tempted to get recipes for the plush griffon, toy soldier etc. but then realized they’re useless because you can no longer get the frames required to make the tonic anyway :-/ #whatsthepoint

The new recipes don’t require frames. They require T7 materials. And they’re for crafters, not the Mystic Forge.

7g for recipe from TP
20 Bottle of elonian Wine = 6g17s
100 Flawless Snowflake = 3g38s
100 Pile of Bloodstone Dust = I have too many to ever use
Total = 16g55s
Look on my face when I transform = Priceless

I ate both griffon and golem recipes, and have griffon listed twice. I have not made either one of them because I don’t want to waste money on a broken recipe, if that will actually happen.
