For celestial ascended gear are we going to have to craft a new set of charged quartz crystlas? or will there be an option to upgrade the current set we have?

My guess is that you’ll have to craft a new set. This is how weapons worked.

Being able to upgrade it through the mystic forge like how the triforge pendant was, would be pretty nice. But I doubt they’ll do something sensible like that and we’ll most likely have to grind out the whole armor set and just salvage the exotic version.
