Guild Wars 2

I thought by the end of 2013 we were suppose to have new options for legendaries. I don’t want a rainbow Bifrost on my Charr Elementalist. I don’t want to play a Nyan Nyan Cat. Are they coming or am I just waiting for eternity. (which I cant wield cause that is a greatsword.)

No, the patch coming today is the last patch until January 21st.

They stated a couple of months ago that if anything from the June blog post was delayed it would be precursor crafting and the new legendaries. So expect them both in the next month or two (or three) I wager.

It seems we have 4 more patches for this “season 1 LS”, after that there will be a large “feature only” patch. So assuming the first of the 4 remaining patches is on Jan 21st. Assume the big content patch to hit mid to late March. I guess that’s when the new legendaries and possibly precursor crafting will come.

They also stated on several occasions that the new legenderies wont be weapons or armor but trinkets and armor would be coming way later. Nothing has been said about new legendery weapons a far as i have looked.

What they did say however is they intend to expand weapon options (specifically metioning elementalist with pistols), so maybe youll be able to get more legenderies for your class that way.

‘’On top of this, you’ll also see new legendary weapons and new types of legendary gear in 2013.’’ This is from the Lookin Ahead GW2 in 2013. So yest they plan on new legendary weapons too.

But as others already said, Anet latter added that Legendary and precusor will probably be in 2014.

that staff has been in the game files since launch though.
