I’ve looked around and I can’t find anything worthy to buy with my ugly wool sweaters, hats and socks. All the gift exchange NPCs have are skins. Is that it? There used to be recipes for the Mystic Forge that used stacks of them. Are those available this year?

The NPCs have skins, presents, bundles and recipes, not just skins.

More gifts = more chance on rare stuff. Bought 2000 with glory and could immediately buy about 200 more with that ugly sweaters, hats, socks. So probably each giant gift is 1.1 giant gifts(10 percent more to buy with the sweater stuff that drops and hats and socks).

Just send them to me.

Yeah, I was hoping there might be 20-slot bags available since I really like all the Wintersday activities and don’t consider it grinding to play the hell out of it, but in their absence I’ve just opened the boxes in hopes of good stuff and then I sell the ugly clothing for gold to buy 18-slot bags. Better than nothing!

I wonder what the people who stocked up on Ugly clothes thinking the quantities needed for Wintersday rewards would skyrocket like it did for Halloween are saying right now. XD

Either way, yeah, I’d just trade them for more Giant gifts (or the smaller ones, if you’re after different Snowflakes) and try your luck.
