In the update notes for the 10th of December,one of the lines reads:

Arcane III – Arcane Retribution. Moved to Master tier. Decreased cooldown 90s to kitten .

What length of time is a kitten exactly?I just read the notes today and a search of the forums with the keyword “kitten” yields no results that are pertinent to this topic,so is this a gaming term I’ve never heard of,or did no-one else notice the cat?

I ask because I play an ele and this is an update that may affect my build.

One kitten is about one Liebsche

its fourty-five seconds, I believe.

The forum filter doesn’t like 4, 5, and “s” in sequence, for some reason. I really can’t figure out why, but… yah. The forum filter automatically replaces inappropriate terms with “kitten”.

“kitten” is what the forums use to replace so-called inappropriate terms. My best guess is that the number was supposed to be six-nine? I saw this a few days ago, as my main is an ele and I’m in a panic about my build for the update, and that’s all I could come up with.

eta: aw, beaten to it ;) even more confused about what the number is supposed to be, though. Not sure why four, five, s is censored o.0

System prevents you from using leetspeak to go around the word filter

Forum Filter strikes again. Putting inappropriate words into innocent phrases. It taught me so much =D

And to think, I used to be fluent in 1337.

Dear ANet, if someone puts that much effort into trying to talk about butts you should probably just let them. :P
