I have to say that the toy Golems really get me going every time I have to fight them. One is fine, two is ok, 3+ means constant stun and interrupt.
(mashing attack skills while downed) “oh c’mon! DIE you evil toy!!”

Not complaining though, they make it interesting while I’m out gathering to open a gift box and know I might have to fight 5 Golem toys at once!

I managed to somehow fend off 5-6 of them with one rally. In all honesty, if I open another box with them I’m running. No shame >_>
Yeah, I love the dolls, I have both the mini and the infinite tonic, I wish there were more mini princess dolls of different colors, but as a foe they are a pain.

Probably hate the dolls the most. Just because of the confusion stacking. Toy golem is just about the same.
I think my favorite would be the toy soldier or the plush griffon, just because of the way they look.

Princess Dolls. They don’t have faces!
I never noticed that before. That is a special new level of creepy.
I’m ok with that. I also found it to be creepy last year, but I got used to it after zerging around in WvW transformed on a Princess Doll for the whole year. I find it better than having button eyes, at least.

I hate the soldiers with the BB guns with a passion. They were by far the worst wave to deal with when soloing the Infinirarium. Bop-bop-bop-bop until I was downed so many times.
Hated? Definately the Princess Dolls. No contest. I opened one box, got 5 of them. I aoe knocked down them and then went for the present… got insta-killed. I looked at one of them. Seems like it had 20+ stacks of might, protection, regen, maybe fury too?
The Griffons are my favorite. Not because they’re easier, but because they look really cute.
Golems. Dolls I can just about handle, golems are essentially “stability or die”.
Favourite is the plush griffon. Extra cuddly and extra pesky!

Least favorite? THOSE DOLLS. It’s better now that I’m tankier, but nothing is more frustrating than finding out that about 15 stacks of confusion killed you while you were perma-weakened >_>
Favorite? GRIFFONS! They’re just… so adorable. I don’t like fighting them, but it’s worth it for the fluffles.
The Princess Dolls are fairly scary, but I hate the golems more. Blind spamming, stunning, blah. I have one as a mini, if only it could do the same to my foes… :P
None. They’re all pathetically easy now. Just indistinguishable cannon fodder.
Warrior or guardian?
Warrior, Guardian, Ranger, Ele, Necro, Engie… Take your pick. As long as you know what you’re doing it’s not even funny anymore.
At first I thought it was just because I’d gotten better, had a better build and better gear since last year, but then I started comparing damage dealt/received and realized that, nope, they are far, far, far easier than before. For example, I can just facetank an entire toy soldier wave in full berserker with barely a scratch. So could a friend of mine in a lvl 46 character (forgot the class, but not a heavy class). 1 WW nearly instagibs that same wave. Pathetic.
Yeah I don’t like opening those boxes. I solo, and am punished for doing so with them. so far I’ve been insta downed by 3 out of the 5 I’ve opened. Thank you golems, and centaurs. I finished a mixed box OK. Toy soldiers took a little bit, but really AOE chills and stuns on repeat. Solo players are pretty much dead unless we happen to get away right away. and the dropped presents disapear if you don’t grab them soon enough. really?!!? It friggin takes me 5 minutes of seperate from group kill and repeat until theres only 2 that I can mash simultaneous other wise I’m overran… :<
Definitely the Dolls. All those boon stacks and those Confusion stacks make them a pain to deal with. Golems are a close second with their annoying chain knockdown/stunlocks. The Toy Soldiers do a surprising amount of damage, but reflects usually sort them out.
I learned yesterday to run from another group: Ventaris. I opened a box, a bunch of those centaurs came out and almost killed me because I used whirling axe on them… Barely got out of there alive (think I had about 500 health left…)

No, but you can use the consumable charrzookas, jars of bees, harpy pheremones, golem in a box, (as well as any other consumable you have in your inventory) and the guild puzzle that requires you to shoot down the icicles, you can use the bow they give you there (that’s the second picture of mine)!

The friggen devil dolls. I swear those midgets are the spawn of satan or something. The noise, the look, the overly painful confusion. When I see those things pop out of a present box, I am GONE.
