Has anyone at ArenaNet tried to do this daily when the ENTIRE server or overflow is? This was not well-thought-out.

It’s not easy when there are 50+ people at throwing snowballs at 5 – 10 skritt — I’ve done 3 escorts and hit THREE … sorry, but I don’t have 4 – 5 hours to complete one achievement.

There’s a skritt snowball fighter in Lion’s Court you can hit 10 times. Or buy a pack of snowballs from the Ugly Sock/Sweater/Hat vendor and head over to Queensdale. There’s a skritt cave near the garrison.

Just do it near the fountains. No need for an yak escort. There’s a snowball fighter for exactly this purpose…

As William said. There are some skritt that throw snowballs near the fountain that are unrelated to the escort events but still count towards achievement completion.

There are Wintersday skritt everywhere, not just in LA. I was fighting them off in Lornar’s yesterday.

Skritt! I’m Hit!

IMO, this was well thought out. As mentioned above, all sorts of skritt snowball fighters. On overflow, it is even more fun: when you attack the skritt, the splash AoE from your attack accidentally hits nearby players…leading to confusion and, yes, massive snowball fights.

I think this is working exactly as intended.

The 1 Skritt in LA is how I did it. Although it couldn’t be hit 10 times consecutive. I had to hit other NPC’s or players too.

Yeah, that Skritt by the fountain is the one I finished it on. Escort of Tron wasn’t up so I just used that piece of skritt.

I just went throwing snowballs at a skritt at grand piazza in LA, nobody seemed to bother me then… Probably depends alot on server (I was on “Ring Of Fire”)
