This is a thread about the things we liked
To make this the easiest to read possible let’s do a presentation when we post!
>I play WvW a lot on Underworld (tier9 EU)
-The map looks really pretty and it feels less like an “arena”
-Each tower gets it’s own flavor and unique layout
-Environmental buffs from shrines SEEM to be valid enough so that players would go out and defend them (ex; the fire keep ones have really obvious effects)
-Goatyaks get a defense boost (90% dmg/condi-dmg reduction) when you stand next to them and generally run faster. Awesome
-The automatic upgrade of towers and camps with a TIMER (that is cool.)
-The new/re-balanced WvW skills (dmg/def against guards now gives you a passive 20% dmg/def vs npcs and lords). They feel more logical.
-Superior siege now has a “superior” skins
-Dinosaurs
-Middle of the map event map reminded me of the quaggans of yore and forces players to gather for it (since it impacts the whole map). Makes for a cool “final” battle
-You can transform at keeps (at least in the fire one you can become a giant Baltha Doggy that is really powerful in a group yet useless if left by yourself. So I “guess” balanced. haven’t seen if there is one for the other 2 keeps)

Do you not feel that being on a low pop server that the map may be far too big for your server to get fights or maybe go as far as killing solo/duo roamers?

Eheh nice quick response. I actually made another “negative” thread to post about that. yeah I think there will be a problem with population. A big one that will require huge changes to servers (get rid?) before the new maps ship IMO
- Map is so well designed, amazing, gorgeous
- DRAGON SLAYER HYPE. DINOSAURS \o/
- Really loved how you used all the elementals around the map
- The new Superior Siege Weapons skins! Finally I can tell without pressing Alt now
- Good open areas for big fights

One of the REALLY cool new things that should be ported right away
I like the middle area- I expect to see a lot of people hanging around up there waiting for fights. A zergs would have to go out of their way to interrupt a duel. (Although I did see people already trying to hide and gank- you guys are meowfaces).
I like the auto upgrades; no more coming out of wvw with less gold than when I went in.
Auto upgrades should also be implemented asap in the game regardless of the BL release!^^

I like the new map and dont want back to the old map. There are so much taktikal options to fight. Nice work A-Net
